The loadout
You carry four weapons at all times: the auto rifle (key 1), the pump shotgun (key 2), the bolt sniper (key 3) and the trusty pickaxe (key 4). Each one is best at a different range, and swapping at the right moment is what separates good players from great ones.
Rifle — the all-rounder
The rifle deals 26 body damage and 58 on a headshot, with full-auto fire. It is your best friend at medium range. Fire in short bursts: recoil climbs the longer you hold the trigger, so tap-firing keeps your shots on the crosshair.
Shotgun and sniper
The shotgun fires 8 pellets at once — up close it can delete a raider in one or two pumps, but it is useless far away. The sniper is the opposite: 92 body and a huge 160 headshot means one clean hit removes most enemies, but you must aim carefully because the bolt is slow.
Pickaxe secrets
The pickaxe never runs out of ammo, swings fast, and does bonus damage to wooden walls — perfect for breaking into an enemy fort. If you run dry in a close fight, a quick pickaxe combo can still finish the job.
